Teachers have been selected in grades 5-12 to participate in this grant-funded program. The focus of the program is to enhance instruction through the integration of technology and multimedia components.
Southeast Delco School District EETT Cohort
Each teacher, through the grant, receives a Promethean Board and a team of 4 (in each school building) will share 2 sets of learner response systems (clickers) and 2 carts of ~ 30 Acer Aspire netbooks.
Grade 5 - 12 teachers, 4 in each building, across content areas will meet as building cohorts (~monthly) and as interdisciplinary teams across-district (~quarterly) through the school year to share ideas, learn new technologies, and collaborate with each other in creating opportunities to improve technology literacy skills of your students. The cohorts will be guided and facilitated by the Technology Coach, Dr. Carolyn Faulkner-Beitzel. In addition, there are several times during the school year that data will be collected on a sample student population to meet requirements of the grant so mandatory teacher/student participation in surveys may be expected.
